That Was An Accident
Allyson: "This has been the worst night. I'm not honestly sure how it can get any worse."
…
Police Officer: "Stand down!"
Sondra: "How dare you? My husband is pastor at…"
Police Officer: "Sir, she just came in here and…" [tasers Sondra] "That was an accident."
How does one horrible night instantly become worse? Cue the pastor's wife accidentally getting tased.
A Little Trip to the Hospital
Sean: "Ali, it's me. Just wanted to let you know that everything's going great here. We're all good. We're going to take a little trip to the hospital."
Sean really doesn't want to make wife Allyson worry, especially as that would suggest that he's not capable of taking care of their kids on his own. The fact that he's mentioning a hospital visit, however, points otherwise.
Tonight Is Our Night and We Look Good
Allyson: "Ladies, tonight is our night and we look good."
…
Restaurant Hostess: "I cannot find your reservation."
Allyson: "I just want to sit down with my friends without three little people clawing all over me."
Restaurant Hostess: "You're getting a little angry and it's doing something ugly to your face."
The ladies are dressed up nice and ready to enjoy dinner. Too bad they can't get past the brutally honest restaurant hostess.
Bones, My Baby?
Bridget: "Bones, Bones, my baby?"
Bones: "I called Caprice and Caprice said she's take him."
Bridget's search for her baby intensifies when she arrives to see Bones, thinking Bones is watching the baby, but Bones doesn't have him. Instead, this meeting sends the women on a wild goose chase to find the missing child.
I Planned This Moms' Night Thing for Saturday
Sean: "You have to choose to do something for yourself."
Allyson: "I planned this moms' night thing for Saturday."
Sean: "You what? You planned a moms' night?"
On the urging of husband Sean, Allyson plans some time for herself in a moms' night. Despite his urging however, Sean is surprised that she actually took his advice.
What's the Worst Thing That Could Happen?
Izzy: "What's the worst thing that could happen?"
Marco: "They could get maimed. I could lose both children. It's getting hot in here!"
When Izzy explains that she needs Marco to watch the kids for a few hours, Marco immediately freaks out. Even just thinking about the worst that could happen makes him very uncomfortable.
Your Job Is...
Sean: "Hun, your job is…"
Allyson: "Hard, I know."
Sean: "Important, that's what I was going to say."
After spending an evening taking care of their kids, Sean realizes that Allyson's job as a wife and mother is both more difficult and more important than he previously gave her credit for.
You're Supposed to Be Watching Our Baby
Bridget: "Joey, you're supposed to be watching our baby. Who has him?"
Joey: "Bones"
Bridget: "He's at the tattoo parlor?"
A fun night with the girls turns to terror when Bridget realizes that Joey is not watching their baby and their baby could be lost. This realization sets off a chain of events which makes this one night they'll never forget.
Life Is About Finding the Meaning and the Joy
Sondra: "Life is about finding the meaning and the joy and the purpose in all the chaos."
Sondra gives Allyson some motherly wisdom. The purpose of life, she says, is to find the meaning and the joy in all of the motherly chaos.
Like Shawshank Redemption
Kevin: "Okay so here's the plan. We take them inside, get their hand stamped so they can't get out, like Shawshank Redemption."
The guys have what they think is a genius plan to entertain their kids while their wives play. They will take them to a pizza fun restaurant, someplace where they think everyone will be safe and happy.
