"Snowpiercer" movie quotes tell the science-fiction tale of a future society where life exists only on a never-ending train. The South Korean action film was directed by Bong Joon-ho using a screenplay he co-wrote with Kelly Masterson based on the French graphic novel "Le Transperceneige" by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette. "Snowpiercer" opened in South Korea on August 1, 2013, before opening in the United States on June 27, 2014.
In "Snowpiercer," a catastrophic experiment forced an ice age and made the earth uninhabitable. The few humans left on earth boarded the Snowpiercer, a perpetual-motion train that has operated continuously for 18 years. Within that train, a class system has been in place, separating the elite in the front of the train and placing the peons in poverty in the back.
Tired of living in low class, the members of the back of the train, led by Curtis Everett (Chris Evans), plan a revolt. Along with Tanya (Octavia Spencer), Edgar (Jamie Bell) and Namgoong Minsu (Song Kang-ho), storm the front of the train to take down Minister Mason (Tilda Swinton) and the train's creator (Wilford). But as they do that, they risk derailing the train, which as far as they know, is the only way to survive on earth.
"Snowpiercer" is just one of several highly anticipated summer 2014 films including "Transformers: Age of Extinction," "Think Like a Man Too," "22 Jump Street, "How to Train Your Dragon 2," "Hellion," "The Rover," The Fault in Our Stars," "Edge of Tomorrow," "A Million Ways to Die in the West," "Maleficent," "Night Moves," "Filth," "Blended," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "The Immigrant," "The Love Punch, "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, "Million Dollar Arm," "Godzilla," "Palo Alto," and "Chef."

The Security Expert Is in the Prison Section
Curtis Everett: "The security expert is in the prison section now. If we can get him to cooperate, he can take us all the way to the front of the train."
Curtis knows that he will need some help if he's going to reach the front of the train. Good thing Namgoong Minsu, the security expert who helped design the train, is on board.
The Train Saved Humanity
Wilford: "This is the world. The train saved humanity… The engine lasts forever. The population must always be kept in balance."
Wilford, the creator of the train, explains how his vision operates. Those on the train can live there indefinitely as the train works on perpetual motion. To survive, however, everyone must stick to their classes.
Know Your Place!
Mason: "Passengers, eternal order flows from the sacred engine. We must occupy our preordained position. I belong to the front, you belong to the tail. Know your place! Keep your place!"
Minister Mason reminds the train's passengers of the class system that must be maintained. Unlike her, many of the passengers are in low class, living in poverty in the tail section, an order that she very much wants to keep intact.
Curtis, Is It Time?
Tanya: "Curtis, is it time?"
Curtis Everett: "Now isn't the time."
Edgar: "Well, when is the time?"
Curtis Everett: "Soon"
Many in the low class area are looking upon Curtis to lead their uprising and are eager for that to begin. Curtis doesn't necessarily want the responsibility of leading this movement but is going to do his best nonetheless.
18 Years I've Hated This Train
Curtis Everett: "This chaos, a thousand people in an iron box, 18 years I've hated this train. 18 years I've waited for this moment."
Curtis has put up with living in the low class portion to the train for 18 years, which is 18 years too long according to him. He's been waiting for the time when that would change and he's determined to make that time now.
One Circle Every Year
Narrator: "The circular railway that extends for 438,000 kilometers completes one circle every year."
In an informative video shown to children, the narrator explains how the train works. On a railway that circles the globe, the train makes one complete loop each year, traveling 438,000 kilometers.
We've Been Watching You
Mason: "We know you well, Mr. Curtis. We've been watching you. Precisely 74% of you shall die."
Minister Mason issues a stern threat to Curtis and his attacking troops. Usually when one side gives a threat like this, they are not quite particular enough to predict the exact percentage of casualties.
We Take the Engine and We Control the World
Curtis Everett: "We take the engine and we control the world. It's time we take the engine."
Curtis has had enough of this class system on the train and has a plan to turn that on its head. That plan starts with taking control of the engine.
