"Fury" movie quotes tell the story of one key tank crew that wages an uphill battle late in World War II. The war film was written and directed by David Ayer, who previously worked on "Training Day" and "End of Watch." "Fury" opened in theaters on October 17, 2014.
In "Fury," US Army Staff Sergeant Don "Wardaddy" Collier (Brad Pitt) leads a small crew on the M4A3E8 Sherman tank Fury late in World War II in April 1945. While most tank crews have a life expectancy of six weeks, Wardaddy and his crew, including Boyd "Bible" Swan (Shia LaBeouf), US Army Cpl. Trini "Gordo" Garcia (Michael Pena) and Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis (Jon Bernthal), have been together for four years.
Wardaddy and the Fury crew are joined by the highly inexperienced Norman "Cobb" Ellison (Logan Lerman) and tasked with taking down one key enemy group which, if they fail, could mean the death of their entire Ally division. So against all odds, the heavily outnumbered Fury crew sets out on an unlikely mission that will change them all, and the world, forever.
"Fury" brings some seriousness to theaters already buzzing with other great films including "The Judge," "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," "St. Vincent," "Gone Girl," "Men, Women & Children," "Left Behind," "The Equalizer," "Pride," "Good People," "The Boxtrolls," "This is Where I Leave You," "The Maze Runner," "A Walk Among the Tombstones," "Dolphin Tale 2," "No Good Deed," "The Skeleton Twins," and "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby."

Five Against 300
Norman Ellison: "They're coming."
Wardaddy: "How many?"
Norman Ellison: "They're 300 of them."
Trini Garcia: "It's five against 300."
Wardaddy: "We ain't never run before, why we gonna run now? We still in this fight. We still in this fight."
Norman Ellison informs the others that 300 enemy troops are approaching. Despite being outnumbered five to one, Wardaddy and others vow to fight on.
A Lot More People Got to Die
Wardaddy: "It will end, soon, but before it does, a lot more people got to die."
Wardaddy drops another dose of wisdom on his troops. He explains that there is an end in sight, but it won't come without more bloodshed.
I'm Scared
Norman Ellison: "I'm scared."
Wardaddy: "I'm scared too."
Wildly outnumbered and outgunned, Norman admits just how scared he is in battle. Wardaddy echoes these feelings but neither are ready to give up after coming so far.
History Is Violent
Wardaddy: "Ideals are peaceful. History is violent."
Wardaddy sums up war quite simply. While ideals are peaceful, as history proves, it takes violence to get there.
Do What You're Here For!
Wardaddy: "Fire! Hit that son of a bitch! Hit 'em!"
Trini Garcia: "Do your job! Do what you're here for!"
Deep in battle, Wardaddy orders his crew to fire on an enemy ahead. Everyone listens, except for Norman Ellison, a move that surprises the others.
He Kills You or You Kill Him
Wardaddy: "Why are you here? You're here to kill him. You know why he's here? He's here to kill you. He's here to kill you. He's here to rip your throat out, put a bullet in your… I'm trying to teach you something. Are you here to get me killed? Are you going to get me killed? I need you to perform. Just get it over with. Just get it over with."
Norman Ellison: "I can't do it."
Wardaddy: "Yes, you can. I know you can. He kills you or you kill him. It's simple math. You or him: pick."
Norman Ellison: "Just kill me, kill me, kill me, kill me, kill me, please. I can't do it."
When Norman Ellison doesn't want to kill an enemy soldier, Wardaddy explains how war really works for him. Even when faced with the choice of dying or killing the soldier, Ellison hesitates to take the life of another.
These Troops Get by You, We're All Dead in the Water
Captain Waggoner: "These troops get by you, we're all dead in the water. All we got is you."
Captain Waggoner informs Wardaddy about the current state of things. As he explains, a very important battle is coming and the stakes of the battle are crucially high.
If You Think It Can't Get Worse, It Can
Wardaddy: "If you think it can't get worse, it can. The dying's not done. The killing's not done."
As Wardaddy explains, the limits to how bad things can be in war are endless. It seems like things are bad right now, but any seasoned soldier will attest that it can always get worse.
I'm Your New Assistant Driver
Norman Ellison: "I was afraid you was dead. Where's the rest of 3rd Platoon?"
Wardaddy: "We're it."
Norman Ellison: "Sergeant Collier, I'm your new Assistant Driver."
Wardaddy: "Tank school?"
Norman Ellison: [shakes head]
Wardaddy: [points to Fury] "That's home."
Norman Ellison: "I've never even seen the inside of a tank."
Wardaddy: "You will… I started this war killing Germans in Africa. Now I'm killing Germans in Germany. I promised my crew a long time ago I'd keep them alive. I've been with these fine gentlemen for years."
Norman Ellison introduces himself to Wardaddy and announces that he is joining the Fury crew. Considering Norman is a bit inexperienced, Wardaddy isn't exactly excited about the news but vows to protect him just like he does the others.
What a Man Can Do to Another Man
Boyd Swan: "Wait until you see it."
Norman Ellison: "See what?"
Boyd Swan: "What a man can do to another man"
Boyd Swan offers some insight into being a soldier to Norman. As Boyd mentions, war makes men do quite unspeakable things to one another.
