Horns Movie Quotes
"Horns" movie quotes tell the story of a young man who finds himself accused of the murder of his love and suddenly growing horns out of his head. The fantasy thriller was directed by Alexandre Aja using a screenplay Keith Bunin adapted from a novel of the same name by Joe Hill. "Horns" appeared at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival before opening theatrically in the United States on October 31, 2014.

In "Horns," Ignatius "Ig" Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) is madly in love with girlfriend Merrin Willians (Juno Temple). Shortly after Merrin is murdered, the death of which he's accused, Ig wakes after a long night of drinking to find two horns growing out of his head. The reaction from others to this development is mixed with some noticing the horns and laughing, like friend Glenna (Kelli Garner), and others not being able to see the horns and thinking Ig has gone mad, like Lee (Max Minghella).

The horns seem to also have the ability to get others to randomly confess or admit things to Ig, like when waitress Veronica (Heather Graham) unloads to Ig about her insecurities. This gives Ig the idea that he can use this new found power to help find Merrin's real murderer, though that path to his own redemption is surely to get worse before it gets better.

"Horns" joins the fall 2014 movie season already roaring with films such as "Nightcrawler," "Before I Go to Sleep," "John Wick," "White Bird in a Blizzard," "Fury," "The Best of Me," "The Book of Life," "Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)," "The Judge," "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," "St. Vincent," "Gone Girl," "Men, Women & Children," "Left Behind," "The Equalizer," "Pride," "Good People," "The Boxtrolls," and "This is Where I Leave You."

I've Gotta Figure Out Who Really Killed Merrin
Ig Perrish: "I've gotta figure out who really killed Merrin and get him to confess."

Knowing that the horns make others tell him things that they normally wouldn't, Ig figures out that he needs to use this new-found skill to determine who really killed Merrin. Finding the real murderer will absolve him of the crime and hopefully brings things back closer to normal.
The Only Way Out is to Walk Deeper into the Fire
Ig Perrish: "No one is born evil but sometimes when you go through hell, the only way out is to walk deeper into the fire."

Ig knows that life is tough right now but in order to make it though this, it's going to get worse before it gets better. He seems up to the task.
I Loved Her
Ig Perrish: "Please, you have to believe me. I loved her."
Lee Tourneau: "You know, you don't have to convince me. I believe you."
Ig Perrish: "Why are you protecting me? Cause if I did anything to her then I'm a monster."

Ig tries to defend himself after being accused of killing Merrin. He's a bit confused by his supporters though since whomever actually killed her should be held responsible.
Have a Little Snort
Ig Perrish: "What are they?"
Dr. Renald: "You know how I think we should proceed? I should grind me up some Oxycontin and have a little snort."
Ig Perrish: "Wha? Um"

Ig heads to the doctor for advice on how to deal with his horns. The doctor, however, thinks drugs, for himself, are the answer.
The Winner Gets an Exclusive Interview
Radio Reporter: "Admit you killed her! It would be such a huge scoop for me."
Ig Perrish: "I've got an idea. How about you guys beat the heck out of each other and the winner gets an exclusive interview with me?"

Ig is constantly hounded by the press who want him to confess to Merrin's murder. He has another idea, though, to make the reporters fight to the death for his exclusive interview.
I Made a New Friend
Terry Perrish: "What's that snake doing around your neck?"
Ig Perrish: "I made a new friend."

As if his resemblance to the devil wasn't bad enough with the huge horns growing out of his head, Ig takes things to the next level when he allows a snake to hang out around his neck. Terry isn't impressed.
Love You for the Rest of My Life
Ig Perrish: "I'm going to love you for the rest of my life."
Merrin Williams: "Just love me for the rest of mine."

When loves Ig and Merrin talk about loving one another for the rest of their lives, neither have any idea that one will soon be kicking the bucket. In hindsight, the fact that Merrin talks about only loving her for the rest of her life is a bit fishy.
You Mean the Horns?
Ig Perrish: "How do I look? I mean, do you notice anything unusual?"
Glenna Shepherd: "You mean the horns?"

Ig wakes up to find horns growing out of his head. Any thoughts that they were unnoticeable went out the window real quick too.
If I Am This Crazy
Ig Perrish: "Lee!"
Lee Tourneau: "What?"
Ig Perrish: "Everyone in this town is going f***ing crazy."
Lee Tourneau: "Yeah, town's always been crazy."
Ig Perrish: "No, but I think it's because of me and these goddamn horns."
Lee Tourneau: "Yeah… Wait, what?"
Ig Perrish: "The horns, these horns"
Lee Tourneau: "What are you talking about?"
Ig Perrish: "Wait, can't you see them?"
Lee Tourneau: "Are you high right now? You been hanging out with Terry?"
Ig Perrish: "So maybe, maybe the horns just don't work on good people."
Lee Tourneau: "Okay, I think you've been under an inhuman amount of stress recently and maybe you're just starting to go a little, you know, a little cuckoo."
Ig Perrish: "But if I am this crazy and I can imagine this, then I could have easily have got so drunk that I passed out that night that I killed Merrin and just forgot all about it, right?"

In talking to Lee, Ig is confused to learn that Lee cannot see his horns. While Lee thinks Ig is just stressed out, Ig contemplates if he could have killed Merrin in his drunken stupor.
There's No Hope for You
Father Mould: "Get away from me!"
Ig Perrish: "No, no"
Father Mould: "Leave, leave me alone."
Ig Perrish: "No, no, no, no, I'm not here to hurt you. Please, tell me what I have to do to stop this. How do I make them go away?"
Father Mould: "You killed that innocent girl, Merrin. There's nothing I can do."
Ig Perrish: "No, except I didn't kill her!"
Father Mould: "Please, leave me alone!"
Ig Perrish: "I didn't kill her, Father, and now people are telling me all these things that I don't want to hear. I mean, there must be a prayer you can say. I'll try anything."
Father Mould: "You did this to yourself."
Ig Perrish: "What?"
Father Mould: "You turned away from god and you cast yourself into the darkness."
Ig Perrish: "But I didn't do anything wrong."
Father Mould: "Every devil used to be an angel and now you've fallen from grace forever. When Satan was banished from heaven, he was cursed to crawl the earth like a snake. There's no hope for you."
Ig Perrish: "What, so that's it? There's nothing you can do for me?"
Father Mould: "I've got a rope in that shed over there. I could take you out to that tree where Merrin died and I could string you up."

Thinking some demonic possession could be happening, Ig seeks help from a local priest. Father Mould doesn't want anything to do with Ig though, claiming his actions leave him no hope for salvation.
