I, Frankenstein Movie Quotes
"I, Frankenstein" movie quotes bring the classic story of Frankenstein back to the big screen for a new feature film. Using the graphic novel and original screenplay written by Kevin Grevious, Stuart Beattie wrote and directed the fantasy action film. "I, Frankenstein" opened in the United States on January 24, 2014.

In "I, Frankenstein," Aaron Eckhart portrays Adam Frankenstein, the son/creation of scientist Dr. Victor Frankenstein. Created roughly 200 years earlier, Adam finds himself in a dystopian present where he is caught between two sides engaged in an epic war for power and control.

While the gargoyles are trying to recruit him to join their side, demon leader Naberius (Bill Nighy) is trying to use the animation method that brought Adam to life to create an army of other beings that will fight on his side of the war. Adam realizes that he is a special being who could change the direction of the war entirely, and with the help of Terra (Yvonne Stragovski), he could do just that.

I Am Like None Other
Adam: "I was given life 200 years ago. I am like none other."

Adam Frankenstein briefly explains his existence. He was animated by his father, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, 200 years ago. While he appears to be human, he is much different.
I'm a Monster
Adam: "I'm a monster."
Terra: "You're only a monster if you behave like one."

Adam is down about himself, calling himself a monster. But as Terra reminds him, he does not have to be defined as a monster, unless he wants to behave like one.
You Could Use Those Gifts
Ophir: "You have strength and speed and stamina, far beyond that of any human. You could use those gifts in a war that you're already a part of."

Ophir tries to convince Adam that he would be an asset to whichever side of the ongoing war that he could choose to join. Adam's unique characteristics make him a key player in this battle.
I, Frankenstein
Adam: "I, descender of the demon hoard, I, my father's son, I, Frankenstein, I am out there fighting to defend you."

Adam speaks about his beginnings and what he is currently doing with his life. He came from demons, was created by his father and is now intent on defending the good guys.
Unless You Can Animate That Corpse
Adam: "Naberius has found a way to summon every demon you've ever descended."
Leonore: "What?"
Adam: "Possession, in bodies that have no souls"
Gideon: "Only the dead have no souls. What is the use of possessing a corpse?"
Adam: "There is none, unless you can animate that corpse. Naberius has been planning this for centuries. Victor Frankenstein just made it possible."

Adam tries to warn Leonore of what Naberius is plotting. While it was Adam's father who made this evil plan possible, it is also Adam's chance to prevent it.
If Frankenstein Was Real...
Naberius: "If Frankenstein was real, if he really did animate a human, would it help you to study it?"
Terra: "Well, yes, absolutely but Mr. Wessex, it would have to be over 200 years old by now. There would be nothing left but a few brittle bones."
Naberius: "It's the first and only one of its kind, Dr. Wade. Who's to say how long such a subject might live?"

Naberius introduces the idea of Frankenstein's Adam to Terra by asking if such a being existed, if she would have an interest in studying it. At first she brushes off the notion, thinking that Adam could by no means live for 200-plus years, it does plant the seed in her head to investigate further.
The Rumors Are True
Gideon: "Frankenstein, the rumors are true."

Gideon stumbles on proof that Frankenstein isn't just rumored to exist as many claim, but actually exists. Gideon knows that this changes everything and that his discovery could impact the world they know in unimaginable ways.
I Go My Own Way
Adam: "I go my own way."
Naberius: "You cannot save the human race. Nothing can stop their demise."

While Naberius warns Adam that he cannot save the human race, hoping that it will encourage Adam to give up, Adam vows to continue with his mission. It's entirely possible that Adam can change things, stop the demise of the humans, and even if he won't admit it, Naberius knows that.
Entire Army of Human Monsters Like Me
Adam: "There's an entire army of human monsters like me, tens of thousands of them. It could mean the end of all mankind."

Adam knows he is not alone but also that his type of "human monster" is entirely dangerous. He can however intervene and use their forces for good.
When I Met You
Leonore: "When I met you, I looked into your eyes and saw darkness."

Leonore makes it known that she will not be fooled by Adam. She believes that he is nothing short of evil, despite his claims of good intentions.
