Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life Movie Quotes

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life movie quotes bring the laughs to this film about students who revolt against the strict guidelines set by their principal. Adapted into a screenplay by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer and Kara Holden based on the book of the same name by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts, the family comedy was directed by Steve Carr. Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life opened in theaters on October 7, 2016.

In Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, Rafe (Griffin Gluck) starts at a new middle school and soon finds that the worst part isn't his bully, Miller (Jacob Hopkins), but actually the strict rules in the school code of conduct, which are fiercely enforced by Principal Dwight (Andy Daly) and his sidekick Ida Stricker (Retta).

So when Rafe's notebook, which holds his drawings and is perhaps the most cherished item he owns, is confiscated and destroyed, Rafe leads a revolution. He gathers his best friend, Leo (Thomas Barbusca), and his crush Jeanne (Isavela Moner), along with other students and makes a plan to break every single rule in the book. What follows is messy, if not hilarious, and wild.

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life movie quotes also feature lines from costars Lauren Graham and Rob Riggle. The film joins theaters along with other fall 2016 movies such as The Birth of the Nation, The Girl on the Train, American Honey, and Masterminds.

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life Movie Quotes,

Rules Aren't For Everyone

Jeanne: Rules aren't for everyone.
Ida Stricker: What did you just say?
...
Gus: Whoever did this is committed to the art.

Everyone is surprised when they arrive at school to see it covered in sticky notes. Whether the students are committed to art or staging a protest against the rules is still up for debate.

Principal Dwight Has Three Nipples

Principal Dwight: How many people has a test that starts, "Principal Dwight has three nipples"? Well it's false! Put false! I was born without nipples, for your information, and it looks beautiful!

Principal Dwight is forced to admit something quite personal in this Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life movie quote. When a prank puts information about his nipples on a test, he firmly claims the information is false.

Think Outside the Box

Leo: It is up to us to speak for the voiceless!
...
Jeanne: We gotta do something about this school! We have to express ourselves as not just a bunch of robots!
...
Rafe: This principal is evil!
Jules: You want to stand out? You want to make a difference? Think outside the box.

Everyone seems to be against the silly school rules, and eager to do something about it, as featured in these Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life movie quotes. It's this encouragement and backing that convinces Rafe to lead the revolution against Principal Dwight.

Let's Break Every Rule

Rafe: All right, guys, I've given you all your assignments. Let's break every rule in the code of conduct to expose Principal Dwight.
Miller: All right, Khatchadorian, I'm in.
Rafe: Did you just say my name right?

Rafe gathers his classmates to strategize on how they'll break every rule in the book. Even the class bully is with them, and surprisingly begins to respect Rafe for the move.

Hand Over the Notebook

Leo: Dude, this is hilarious!
Ida Stricker: Hand over the notebook!
...
Principal Dwight: I don't look like that... Creativity has no place in this school!

When Ida Stricker, on Principal Dwight's orders, confiscates Rafe's notebook, Rafe is heartbroken and angry. Drawing in that notebook is the most important thing to Rafe and now all his creations are all gone.

This Year's Going to Be Fun

Rafe: My name is Rafe Khatchadorian and welcome to my first day of middle school. Every middle school is filled with the same types of kids. There are the kids you want to hang out with and the kids you want to avoid. But in my new school, the biggest bully isn't even a kid. So, yeah, this year's going to be fun.

Rafe explains a bit about him and his new middle school in this Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life movie quote, and in turn explains a bit about the film. He dislikes his new school, mainly due to an awful principal.

The Code of Conduct, Read It

Principal Dwight: Excuse me, young man, what's your name?
Rafe: Rafe Khatchadorian, I'm new.
Principal Dwight: Everything you have on is breaking rule #22.
Rafe: What's rule #22?
Principal Dwight: The code of conduct, read it. Look what's happening to your shirt. Nobody needs to see where your chest hairs are going to be.

It doesn't take long for Principal Dwight to meet new student Rafe, as evidenced in these Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life movie quotes. Unfortunately, their first interaction isn't exactly a positive one.

No Laughing!

Lunch lady: No outside food!
...
Principal Dwight: No talking!
...
Ida Stricker: No laughing!
...
Principal Dwight: No going to the bathroom!
...
Principal Dwight: No bike riding on campus. I'm confiscating this! Get off!

Various staff members recite a number of school rules from the code of conduct. What really should be the rule is, no fun!
