"Earth to Echo" movie quotes follow the adventures when a group of teens discover a tiny alien looking to return to his home. The science fiction movie was written by Henry Gayden based on a story he developed with Andrew Panay. Dave Green directed the film which opened on July 2, 2014.
In "Earth to Echo," Alex (Teo Halm), Tuck (Brian "Astro" Bradley) and Munch (Reese C. Hartwig) are best buddies. That however is in jeopardy as the neighborhood in which they live is about to be destroyed to make way for a highway and thus the families on their block are all moving away. The three are down about this fact but their moods change from sadness to intrigue when each of them receive strange messages on their cell phones, including those which include maps.
Along with classmate Emma (Ella Wahlestedt), the teens follow the clues on their phones and come upon a tiny alien, Echo. In communicating with the alien, they learn that he is stranded on Earth and in need of help getting back home. The teens agree to help Echo, but the task is more difficult than anticipated as people are looking for Echo and, by association, now coming after them too.
"Earth to Echo" joins a 2014 summer movie season already roaring with other great films such as "Tammy," "Transformers: Age of Extinction," "Snowpiercer," "Begin Again," "They Came Together," "Think Like a Man Too," "22 Jump Street, "How to Train Your Dragon 2," "Hellion," "The Rover," The Fault in Our Stars," "Edge of Tomorrow," "A Million Ways to Die in the West," "Maleficent," "Night Moves," "Filth," "Blended," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "The Immigrant," "The Love Punch, "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, "Million Dollar Arm," "Godzilla," "Palo Alto," and "Chef."
