Alice Through the Looking Glass Movie Quotes
Alice Through the Looking Glass movie quotes bring viewers back to the magical world of Wonderland in a sequel to the 2010 Tim Burton film. The fantasy adventure movie was directed by James Bobin using a screenplay Linda Woolverton adapted from the characters created by Lewis Carroll. Alice Through the Looking Glass opened in theaters in the United States on May 27, 2016.

In Alice Through the Looking Glass, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) has been traveling for three years since she last visited Wonderland. But when she runs into the Caterpillar (voiced by Alan Rickman, in his final film appearance), Alice realizes that she is needed in the fantastical world. So Alice heads to Wonderland, meets up with the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) and Tweedledee and Tweedeldum (Matt Lucas, as both), and learns that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is in dire need of her help.

But to save the Hatter, Alice must take on a new enemy, Time (Sasha Baron Cohen), to go back into the past to prevent the heartbreaking events now tormenting the Hatter. But Time isn't exactly cooperative, plus Alice must deal with old foes, including the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), making this journey to save the Hatter quite the adventure.

Alice Through the Looking Glass joined theaters on Memorial Day weekend in 2016 alongside X-Men: Apocalypse, The Nice Guys, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, The Angry Birds Movie and The Lobster.
Alice Through the Looking Glass Movie Quotes,

Turn Back the Hands of Time
Cheshire Cat: When the day becomes the night and the sky becomes the sea, When the clock strikes heavy and there's no time for tea, and in our darkest hour, before my final rhyme, she will come back home to Wonderland and turn back the hands of time.

In a rhyme, the Cheshire Cat explains an overview of the plot of the film. Alice needs to return to Wonderland, do a little time travel and save the Hatter. Piece of cake!
You Cannot Change the Past
Time: You cannot change the past.

Time firmly tells Alice that she cannot change the past, but this is not the answer she accepts. Alice needs to change the past if she is going to save the Hatter and sets out to do just that.
The Hatter's the Matter
Alice Kingsleigh: Have I come at a bad time?
White Queen: On the contrary, we were afraid that you weren't coming at all.
Alice Kingsleigh: What's the matter?
White Rabbit: The Hatter's the matter.
Tweedledum: Or the matter of the Hatter
Tweedledee: The former
Tweedledum: No, the latter
White Queen: Tweedles
Tweedledum and Tweedledee: He's mad!
Alice Kingsleigh: The Hatter? Yes, I know. That's his marchness. That's what makes him so, him.
Tweedledum: But he's grown darker, less dafter
Tweedledee: Denies himself laughter
Cheshire Cat: And no scheme of ours can raise any sort of smile. We rather hoped you might help us save him.
Alice Kingsleigh: Hatter is my truest friend. If he's in need, I will help him.

When Alive arrives in Wonderland, the White Queen, Cheshire Cat and the Tweedles fill her in on what's been happening with the Hatter while she was gone. The Hatter is in a bad spot and Alice is their only hope to save him.
You've Been Gone Too Long, Alice
Caterpillar: You've been gone too long, Alice. There are matters which might benefit from your attention. Friends cannot be neglected. Hurry!

The Caterpillar explains to Alice that her presence has been missed. There is much that she needs to do to help her friends and she better get a move on.
I Don't Want to Hold On
Alice Kingsleigh: Hold on, everyone.
Mad Hatter: I don't want to hold on!

Knowing they are in for a bumpy ride, Alice suggests that everyone hold on tight. Defying common sense, this does not interest the Hatter.
There's Nothing Wrong with Me
Alice Kingsleigh: Where am I?
Dr. Addison Bennett: Well let's see, excitable, prone to fantasy, textbook case of female hysteria. We'll have her fixed in no time... Stop her! You'll never get away! Hurry!
...
Alice Kingsleigh: There's nothing wrong with me?

Alice wakes up in what appears to be a mental health facility. While the doctors think she is nuts, Alice has never seen life so clear.
I Seek a Young Lady
Time: I seek a young lady, her hair yellowish, her name Alice.

As a new protagonist in the story, Time seeks to find Alice. He knows what she looks like and her name, but her location eludes him.
I Shall Have Your Head
Red Queen: I shall have the heads of all your friends then I shall have your head.
Alice Kingsleigh: That sounds very dangerous.

The Red Queen issues a stern warning to Alice. She wants to kill all of Alice's friends, then Alice herself, all of which sounds very unpleasant.
You Seem to Have Time All Mixed Up
Alice Kingsleigh: Hatter? Hatter? It's you! You're you again!
Mad Hatter: Well if I'm not, I wish I was... Have we met?
Alice Kingsleigh: Yes! Well, no, I mean, not yet.
Mad Hatter: That's funny. I feel I should know you.
Alice Kingsleigh: Well we have met once when I was younger.
Mad Hatter: Oh, I'm afraid I don't recall.
Alice Kingsleigh: That's because it hasn't happened yet.
Mad Hatter: Oooh, when will it happen?
Alice Kingsleigh: Years from now, when you're older
Mad Hatter: I meet you when you're younger and I'm older.
Alice Kingsleigh: I realize it doesn't make much sense.
Mad Hatter: It makes perfect sense to me. I'm Tarrant.
Alice Kingsleigh: I know! I'm Alive.
Mad Hatter: Alice, you seem to have time all mixed up.

When Alice travels back in time and meets the Hatter, she tries to talk to him, but what she's saying doesn't make a lot of sense to him. While he thinks she's all mixed up, he is polite to her anyway.
Oh, No, Not Again!
Humpty Dumpty: Oh, no, not again!
Alice Kingsleigh: Sorry.

Inadvertently, Alice happens to nudge Humpty Dumpty off the wall, sending him crashing to the ground. Poor Humpty, this isn't his first time falling to pieces.
