Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows bring the popular 1980s comic book characters back to the big screen for another feature film adaptation. Dave Green directed the movie using a screenplay Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec wrote based on the characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, the Turtles, Leonardo (Pete Ploszek), Raphael (Alan Ritchson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher) and Donatello (Jeremy Howard), are back and facing new threats to their home of New York City. Their enemy, The Shredder (Brian Tee) has enlisted the help of scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) to use a mutagen to create new enemies, including mutations of Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (Stephen Farrelly).
So the Turtles team up with Master Splinter (Danny Woodburn and Tony Shalhoub, voice), pal April O'Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) and new ally Casey Jones (Stephen Amell) to try to take down The Shredder but old foes, such as Krang (Brad Garrett), and new ones turn this battle into an all out war.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows joined the 2016 movie season alongside Alice Through the Looking Glass, X-Men: Apocalypse, The Nice Guys, and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

Holding up a mutagen, Shredder seems optimistic that the mutagen will be the key to building the army they need. Despite the idea surely ending in death and destruction, Dr. Baxter Stockman seems overly excited about all this.
Bringing Back the Mohawk!
Michelangelo: Dude, bringing back the mohawk! Good for you!
Bebop: Oh ho ho, you all gots jokes, huh?
Michelangelo congratulates Bebop on bringing back the mohawk. Considering Bebop had little control over this mutation, Bebop doesn't find the comment too funny.
What Would Vin Diesel Do?
Raphael: Okay, okay, you got this. What would Vin Diesel do? No regrets! No fear!
In preparation for jumping out of an airplane, Raphael channels his favorite action star, Vin Diesel. Once the initial fear subsides, he seems to be enjoying the fall.
The Traits of a Ninja
Raphael: Pop quiz! What are the traits of a ninja?
Leonardo: Speed, stealth and precision!
As if the Ninja Turtles needed any refresher on what it means to be a ninja, Raphael asks Leonardo to name the traits of a ninja. Speed, stealth and precision shound about right.

Michelangelo: One question: Are you guys like a thing?
When he comes to her rescue in a dark alley, April asks Casey who he is. But it's when he takes off his hockey mask that she is truly impressed with him.
Meet the Turtles
Michelangelo: Donatello over there in the purple, he's a genius. Raphael over there in the red, he's a big cuddly teddy bear... if big cuddly teddy bears were incredibly violent. Leonardo, he's in the blue, silent but deadly. And I'm Michelangelo in the orange.
Michelangelo gives an introduction to the turtles for those who might not be aware. They seem pretty nice, if your definition of violent mutant turtles meets your definition of nice.
This Is Awkward
Rocksteady: Bye, Turtles!
Michelangelo: That's nice of them to say goodbye.

Raphael: This is awkward.
Rocksteady is polite enough to say goodbye to the turtles when they flow away from them in a river. However, when they encounter a real turtle, things get a little awkward.
Things Are Pretty Awesome
Donatello: We've got bogeys on the bus! Press the button!
Leonardo: What button? There are a million buttons!
Donatello: Number three! Number three!
Leonardo: Three... We've got company. Mikey, clear our right flank.

When the Turtles run into enemies, they must act quickly to deploy their weapons in their vehicle. Once they figure out which button needs to be pressed, things get pretty awesome pretty fast.
Everything's Normal
Casey Jones: Everything's normal and the next thing I know, I see a garbage truck and it starts launching manhole covers!
Casey recounts what was an average night in New York City, at least until a garbage truck started to launch manhole covers. He might not call that normal, but considering it's New York, anything is possible there.
These Guys Hit Harder Than Anyone
April O'Neil: If you want to go down swinging, these guys hit harder than anyone.
Having full confidence in the Turtles, April remarks that the Turtles are just what Casey needs if he's looking to staff a battle. Casey takes her advice and they all team up for what is sure to be one heck of a war.
